Description
Construction entailed the phased replacement of the existing SH 120 bridge over the Arkansas River and Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. Structures Value Engineered the replacement with a 411’ 4-span structure utilizing pre-stressed and post-tensioned U-48 Girders & post-tensioned precast full-depth deck panels. Work included river access cofferdams, rock excavation, 54” caissons, temporary shoring & de-launching an existing 160’ single span Acrow panel bridge.
